Problem - Issue injecting? (Truebox)

I feel like a total noob right now :p

I've installed Redguide and MQ, I've launched my characters via plugin -> load group. Chars are loaded correctly but MQ isn't injected at all. I've tried adding the folders as exception to Windows Defender, but I'm stuck now.

Strangely, I didn't see anybody having this issue. Could anyone help ? I'm on Windows 11, local network. no VPN, running Redguide as administrator.

Essentially, the MQ window isn't shown and none of the command work (/dge, /dnet, ..). What am I doing wrong ?

Solution
Hehe, also /Plugin (or /plugin) shows this.

Any command I try basically ^^.

I don't have any other overlay, my windows install is practically fresh as it gets.

ChatGPT (Yep I've tried) mentions running EQ with `patchme`, but I guess it's done by default.
Yah this certainly doesn't look like mq is loaded.

You're not trying to use on a true box (relaxed or otherwise) server are you?

Because of autologin logged your toons in the game... Would suspect mq to be injected

If MQ isnt injected your dannet issue is fundamentally rooted in mq not running.

Toggle on the debug for the MQ launcher, and see why it says it didn't inject

Aand a copy pasted pm :(

Sorry for the PM, went a bit fast after posting...

I've launched the debug window and saw that the pipe to the process gets closed:

That doesn't seem to indicate it isn't injected.

What makes you think it isn't injected?

Also, as mentioned on PM,q actively wants you to NOT run EQ/mq as admin

Yep, I've now run it without admin.

Essentially, none of the commands work (/dnet interface, /dge ...). They all show as "This is an invalid command". Also, I don't have the MQ window overlay showing, hence my semi-conclusion it's not injected.

In the MacroQuest logs, there's (if relevant):

Code:

"Invalid command" trying to use a command from a plugin means that plugin isn't loaded

/Plugin dannet

/Mqconsole
Or control+`

If you have a conflicting overlay (Nahimic, afterburner, overwolf, etc - it can crash the overlay system and then imgui windows don't work - you can /mqoverlay resume

Oh yeah, I'm on teek,. I thought relaxed(3) was permissive to boxing on the same machine ?

Unfortunately not - here's the blurb

MQ is not supported on Truebox servers. A relaxed truebox server is still a truebox server.

If/When a server transitions to complete removal of
truebox restrictions, MQ would then be supported.

MQ is now automatically supported once dbg removes their server flags for truebox. If they *say* it is removed, but the server side flags and checks remain, MQ will not work. So it no longer requires a "sometimes after" update.

Other tools such as MySEQ and IonBC are available for truebox servers.

Aaaaaahhhhhh...aaaha!

Well well well. Thank you, that now makes sense. I'll check out both tools then. Appreciate your help!
