The issue here is this has since changed. See Modbot release notes below:

-- On your AD-entry for the Charm spell, the SpellAllias should be <charmspell|charmcast>|<type>|<namelist>. Similar to the old PetCast entry for charm.
-- Added a feature to tell the other bots to Exclude your Charmed pet, until it either dies, or you want to drop the pet. This should help prevent the tank from attacking your pet if your charm breaks, giving you a chance to recharm.

I'm still trying to work out the pulling.
Modbot is perfect for any server that has Xtarget disabled so I do want to get the autopulling working. IMO it's better than Kiss or Mule for a server with Xtarget (esp considering the charm functionality) but just more setup time.
I'm going to make a separate thread on pulling.
