Question - Ignore Mobs List Amount

Question: is there a maximum amount that can be added to the CWTN Ignore File? If So what is this amount out of curiosity.

Reason: Im noticing that after comparing the Ignore Targets from the UI in the Ignore section that it doesnt list a few of those the file. Im not saying its not ignoring them but just wondering if when you have time if we can check the number count on the list to the file? thanks

What zone are you into that information is needed?

are you sure you dont just need to scroll down?

we don't limit the window, but we're only trying to display the 1st 100 entries in your ignored mob list. and if somehow that was over 2048 characters you'd have a problem

if you have over 100 ignored entries, you're likely doing something wrong.

so in Shadow Haven as mostly everyone has already noticed, ive placed all the guards listed because by accidently pulling 1 guard or 1 citizen is just asking to be kos. below is the entries so far that ive listed.

Ignored=|Commander Yaminshavraylin|Commander Zaerel|Defender Derlsin|Defender Geslaon|Defender Teerlals|Defender Alakurn|Defender Walorns|Trade Commissioner Henry|Krizle Geerlok|Defender Faeloritar|Defender Gerlinson|Defender Axedaos|Defender Dutrolian|Lookout Bolombo|Defender Alroklon|Lookout Delron|Defender Jolusnan|Defender Yoel|Lookout Sereon|Defender Beolsona|Defender Olaof|Defender Yerlini|Defender Erotans|Jacob Thornblade|Yeren Ironback|Guardsman Dales|Zaores|Yaron|Sarron|Vuri Pandar|Tirac Goldbender|Gralin Silvertooth|Therin Asakith|Nayda Winterwind|Keiya Oakwood|Kardon|Sir Heaviside|Sir Jarsonic|Sir Michael|Defender Tamalre|Defender Awilanar|Sir Oron|Lookout Tageonia|General Dalinastalarix|Tersie Falsialoen|Barlotal|Rifkin|Defender Jentlos|Defender Hollabac|Defender Rogalo|Lookout Nelorin|Lookout Yereil|Lookout Uhingil|

bow this doesnt include other NPC ive included to be ignored to pull out in the play field

I guess if there was a limit it would be 32, because 2048/64 is 32. But we know that every spawn doesn't have a name that is the max it can be. So I figured for 100 (just pulled this number out of my ass) and those get output to the listbox. However that limitation is on the window, not the actual ignore list. But honestly if you're ignoring more than 100 mobs in a single zone it might be worth looking at why you're ignoring that many and discuss your options for a potential to limit the creatures you can engage a different way.

The ignore list generally is meant to ignore mobs that have a positive faction with you, that you want to maintain a positive faction with (guards), mobs that cannot be injured (some merchants, various quest mobs, etc).
What it's not intended for is ignoring everything except the one creature you want to fight. For that you would want to utilize alert lists.

The plugins automatically ignore anything on alert list 1, so you could add what you want to kill to another alert list, and then in alert list 1 add the other noalert #, where number is the list you added the stuff you wanted to fight.

This may look like,
/alert add 2 race lion
/alert add 1 noalert 2

Then you would only attack a creature whom has a race of lion. This is because we ignore alert list 1, and by adding alert list 2 but saying noalert, it means ignore everything except what is on alert list 2.

Are these creatures all of a race that there are no other mobs in the zone that match that race? Perhaps that's an option. You can get their race by doing a /echo ${Target.Race} when targeting them.

For example, if some return human, and you don't want to attack humans, then /alert add 1 race human
Since we ignore anything on that list it would in turn no choose them as a target.
Keep in mind this list should clear when you zone. So I'd consider making a hotkey to add anything you don't want to attack on a hotkey or aternately try the double negative method where you don't not choose race lion

Are you sure you're pulling them and not social aggro? Just yo confirm

Yah and the guide / instruction for that is in our sticky too with example

well as a clear example, if im pulling a radius of 180 degrees in the pull distance where those guards/citizens are and my intended mob to pull is cleared it will pull these guard/citizen. so its rather a positioning issue where im trying to pull a certain radius where im not pulling them intensionally but it doesnt work that way in most cases especially in this zone.
