Hi everyone, I am sorta new to this, but I am getting frustrated with pulling, my guy goes in and pulls then just get caught in a corner spinning in circles until he gets chain-stunned to death. I am in a city, and I just want to kill mobs on the outside. I am getting very frustrated with this, thank you in advance for your help.

couple of things

do a /nav ui and then check your settings tab to ensure you are clicking on doors

then your other issue might be your mesh needs an adjustment if you are still opening doors but getting stuck in the corner of them

if you want to not go through doors you will need to adjust your pulling radius to be small enough not to go inside

Thank you. I did have the click doors enabled. I will try to lower my range, or edit the mesh.

Well the mesh editor grinds to a halt on my PC, I am not sure what kind of PC I need for it to run correctly. I am just looking now to not get clipped by walls as I am auto pulling.. is there a way to run to a waypoint first so I can help myself get around the wall? The mesh for the zone looks fine, but instead of running around a wall I run into it and keep getting killed. Getting very frustrated with this. I do not think there is a very flat open zone with no objects, because everything I seem to do just results into ramming a wall at full speed.

Im sliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiding along the wall as I run back toward camp. Maybe I should bind there and set up to Gate when I get agro, that might be a lot better. If I could just get myself to turn even 20 degrees more to the left or right on my facing when I am running back to camp would be helpful. Why do I keep running into walls /cry

If you're going to rely on automated pulling, find a different zone. If editing the mesh to fine tune the available paths is not an option for you, then you probably need to take the more simple solution and just go somewhere else. And I don't say that to be sarcastic or demeaning, some places just don't work well with automated pulling routines. However, you can always manually play the puller if you absolutely must be in an indoor zone.

In the meshgenerator try increase your agent size

I have found some zones with doors the doors aren't counted like zone geometry and even though the door opens, the way it hinges/opens it stays in the way. If the door is small enough, an increased agent size should move around it better. If that isn't the case, you need to create 'unpathable' areas with the meshgenerator the door edges to avoid getting so close

Some zones are very large and will slow down moving around for editing the mesh, do it without EQ loaded may help a bit.

Personally, with a 1080ti/3900x it grinds to a halt on some zones for me too. Some smaller zones with 30k+ tiles can move around ok, larger zones with similar tile count or even much less you can barely move around in. Not sure how to improve performance sadly

Yes, this was the simplest answer. I found some other areas that are more friendly.. Norrath is a big place.

Thank you all.

If you only want to pull from outside city (from one direction) maby you can use:
/setpullarc??
This is the info on the command:
This command allows you to set your pull width and the direction you want to pull from. Example:
/setpullarc 128 n

a width of 0 will disable directional pulling. Valid directions are n,ne,e,se,s,sw,w,nw, or any number from 1 - 360. If you leave the direction blank your current heading is used.
