not a stupid question at all

there is no "turn off" - you can go in manual mode, or you can unload the plugin if you don't ever want it to do anything at all ever

just type /plugin mq2war (zerk whatever) you are using. I've got it on a hot button to use as a toggle.

I have hotkey set up for /war mode manual , which allows you to stop what you are doing and freely move around. Of course /unload hot keyed for Douche Bags and the ultra rare "Greetings XXXXXXX, how are you today" lol!
