Is there a way for a (Lua) script to assign the marknpc target without impacting my automated characters (who will be mid-fight when I need to pull this off)? I.e. I don't want to make my marknpc guy target the mob and do an explicit "/marknpc 1"? I really want to keep my automated guys fighting as they would naturally and just behind the scenes have my script force the marknpc to a particular spawn (one that my script already can calculate). Is this possible?
If this is not possible, then what is the least impact way to get it marked? Pause my automation, target the mob, wait for the target to register, do a /marknpc 1, switch back to the target I had before I paused, unpause my automation?
Thanks.
