Bug - How to Reclaim Any Aug ...

Currently there is a bug in game that enables you to remove any aug from any item using an Augmentation Solvent.

'Oh, but you could do this previously and it would destroy the aug' I hear you say.

Currently, it doesn't destroy the aug and you can then reuse it ... such as Purity Augs, Chest Seals (Specially those Pesky VOA ones where u need the 4 purity augs etc to make, and it states can only be destroyed, not removed).

Sucks if your like me and destroyed all previous gear, but guildy who is a hoarder just claimed back 20 Brightly colored Purity Augs. No Issues.

I did the same thing! I had about 10 pieces of old gear in bank that had pur augs! I didn't think to post this on the boards though because somewhere in my mind I thought I read that all augments were removable now. I guess it is a bug, I just re-read the patch and it just says, to remove destroy only augments right click and select destroy. WIN! thanks for getting the word out. :RC

Nerfed as of 9/19 patch....

- Augments that do not have a solvent listed can now be removed only by using Perfected Augmentation Distillers.
