This is an exploit.
1) Get any language quest item and get together with a friend.
2) Right click the item and choose examine... do not click anything else in the dialog box that opens.
3) Trade the item to a friend once he has accepted and the item is no longer in your inventory.
4) Finish the examine dialog messages... ding you get credit for the examined item.
5) Have your friend trade it back
Repeat steps 1-5 until you get the amount of times needed to learn the language. Then help out your friend and he can learn it to... with this method a whole guild could learn the language from one dropped item.
