How to code packet hacks, warp, zone, etc., on MQ2

That's actually pretty funny. Kind of like when source for ND was turned over to SOE, now they can look, see what's been being done, so they at least know what it is they're going to continue to turn a blind eye to for all our benefits. Or they could actually do something about it .... hmm, can;t cue crickets I guess.
 
You do realize that SendEQMessage has been the exact same for...ever pretty much. As long as packet hacks have been in the MQ2 Source they've been in the same place, you just need to know where to look. All anyone did was look through all the SendEQMessage parts of the old MQ source codes and figure out how to add it back in.

Sony has known how packet sending works, they can't put an end to it. Because it's packet SENDING, it's a part of the client. They can't just remove it, because it's essential. There's really not much they can do about that. Then when it comes to warp, they've known FOREVERRR how to stop it but it's too unsafe. People on dial up connections would get banned, people with lag spikes would get banned, etc.

So they made it a very large distance check, so if you're just choppy alarms won't go off. This was fairly easy to fix, and there's nothing more Sony can do about it. Warp is just far too hard to safely detect without getting tons of legit players banned.

hmmm some one gave sony the source?

if i was sony i would just have someone log onto forums like this and get it all like the rest of us. even pay to be on to get the good stuff.

plus they get all the guys who say "my char name hobit on fr server got banned for gk'ing on 9:15 on tue. march 8 2008 in commonlands but im telling them i was not." and they guy is on the phone to sony telling them he is not using 3 party software while the rep. is sitting reading his posts

if im smart enough to figure it out im sure sony can figure it out to
 
Sony doesn't give enough of a rat's ass ... and if you think they do you're somewhat delusional. Tinfoil hats, all around.

Fact is SoE isn't going to fix warp, despite what CC says (btw, I thought he was banned?), you have fairly little to worry about unless a player petitions you.
 
I am Sever3 (the guy that posted that) and I had it removed for obvious reasons. We do however have a tutorial on updating MQ2 source code for warp and zone on ocGamerz.com/hacks if you're interested. Just donate $10 or more to me, any of the other devs, or the website for level 2 access where you can view a tutorial on how to do add warp, zone, no-auth, and more. Also includes various private source codes, such as our warp, zone and speed sources.

You can also earn your way into level 2 by posting something of valuable. This can be anything from a macro to a plugin (must be an AMAZING macro), can also be a glitch or an exploit. Simply post what you think is valuable and we will give you level 2 if we feel it is worth it. If you're interested in learning how to get packets up as well you can earn your way into level 4, where that information is. Levels 3 (detours), 4 (packets), and 5 (MB) can not be bought and must be earned.
