Question - How to block Shaman spell or Druid Flight of the Falcon's

Hello getting back into the game after a short vacation and can't remember how to black the shamans spell tata'tak or druid Flight of the Falcons. Also i have Jann's Veil on every character set to right click to be used. However it keeps click it wither it's buff is active and the illusion spell is blocked. Any help solving the two issues would be appreciated. This is of couse withn CWTN. Thanks in advance. Thank you.

right click on the gem and block spell or /blockspell ID# iirc But depending on class, you may not want to block Tala`Tak

If you know the 4-digit ID# of the spell (which is found when you inspect the buff using one of the default MQ plugins, not sure which one, or you can find it on Lucy) you use:
/blockspell add me #### to block the buff on yourself and
/blockspell add pet #### to block it on your pet.

The plugin FAQs (in and out of game) explains how to block spells. there are multiple ways to do it

for example:

Q. Shaman is chain casting something?
A. There are a few lower lvl / mid level buffs that eq/mq reports stack that do not, or will chain overwrite other buffs and you get into a buffing contest with another toon. You either have this situation, or some other issues. I would suggest checking for the red error text that eq gives you to tell you WHY it didn't successfully take hold and then go from there. You can block anything you don't want cast. This is a built in everquest feature - right click on the buff and "add this spell to list of blocked spells" or go through the eq menu -> character -> blocked buffs

EQ Menu -> Character -> Blocked Buffs
EQ Menu -> Character -> Blocked Pet Buffs (to add to anyone's pet blocked spells)

/blockspell add me id
/blockspell add pet id

This is particularly a problem with the focus line, especially if you have a large level gap between the shm and your bst/clr (particularly if your shm is lower than the bst/cleric) - you can run into issues where mq2 says that it will stack, but then your armor of line will not actually allow it. Or the Wulthan Focusing portion of Talisman of the Wulthan doesn't stack with the cleric Armor of ___ line, so you need to block "Wulthan Focusing Rk. III" on your cleric, if you do the Rk. III it will block all ranks from you.

Q. I don't want the plugin to cast xyz buff on a toon.
A. Any buff you don't want cast upon someone, you would just have that character add it to their blocked buffs.

EQ Menu -> Character -> Blocked Buffs
EQ Menu -> Character -> Blocked Pet Buffs (to add to anyone's pet blocked spells)

/blockspell add me id

We also automatically add and use Jann's veil. EverQuest will not allow you to block the illusion spell and still have the buff benefit land - this is different than many/most other spells/items. you can't block the illusion, you should just use AutoRemoveIllusions and let the plugin cast the item and then remove the illusion
