Question - How do you recommend I progress?

Hey everyone. So, I don't have a ton of time to play EQ, but I want to know what the best route for me to take to progress should be. Right now I have a heroic SK with some AC Augs and 1.5. I want to make a box team to go with him, probably a bard and a shaman, maybe a wizard too. Would that be a decent box group for high levels? What would be the best way to level them? Bone chips to 50ish, then what? At 57 they would get exp with him, right? Would the quickest way to level be to just group up and have my SK slaughter stuff? Or would it be better to use KA to get them up to his level? Or would it make more sense to work on my SK, then work on the box team? Sorry if this is too many questions. Thanks in advance if anyone answers.

Well it all depends on how you plan on playing. If your going to try and level your characters while AFK make sure you have a Wizard or druid in your group. It would be easy to get your group to 57 using mercenaries to make a full group.

The Bone chip macro is an easy way to level toons and is probably the easiest route. Leveling them as a group will require you to move from zone to zone as your group outgrows each zone.

As far as what classes you want in your group that's up to you, but make sure you have at least 1 mezer for crowd control, 1 porter for keeping you safe when AFK leveling, I like pet classes for the extra DPS the pets provide.

Good Luck

Drop the SK and make a warrior.

Drop the bard and make an enchanter

Wizard is always good for dps

Shaman could probably be dropped for a cleric.

Then use to 2 wizard mercs or whatever.

SK = farm AC augs until your eyes bleed and hope it's still good enough for new content.

Warrior = jump right up and start facerolling content.

I guess it all depends on how much time he wants to spend building up a character.

I personally always start out with a mage since the mage pet is amazing tank. Get mage to 100 and geared up then park a tank in the corner until he's level 100 with defensive AA maxed. I think you'd be surprised at what a warrior can do with minimal gear vs what an SK can do.
