Guide - How do we replace the function of mq2timestamp plugin ?

Since this one was listed to remove because of crashes, how do we get this functionality ? I removed it, along with mq2bag and my crashes stopped. But, I don't have the timestamp on my chat windows anymore. The message at http://www.redguides.com/community/announcement.php?f=121&a=99 says

All of these plugins are now obsolete, having been replaced long ago, and their .dll files are safe to delete from your MQ2 folder.

So since mq2timestamp is now obsolete and has been replaced long ago, how do we get the same function ?
