Question - hotkey for starting melee/attack sequence?

Ello all,

Just looking for a simple in-game command i can type in on my pullertank for the times when he goes out and pulls a mob but doesn't begin the attack/tank sequence when he gets the mob back to camp.

isn't there something like /killthis or some?
 
Thanks CT! i was hoping there was something out there...my cleric merc and my shaman can keep eachother alive for a good 5 minutes but it's getting a little old coming back to (or watching) my SK watching all the non-tanks getting beat on like he's the school bully not backin up his crew. Just hitting attack isn't kicking in the "tanking subs" that handle agro control and spells.
 
Yes. /killthis or just /attack

/killthis is a command that will initiate combat via MQ2Melee plugin (which is required and auto-loaded if not loaded) on kissassist.mac startup.

/attack is simply the in-game method to initiate combat attack.

Try increasing you MeleeDistance in your ini file, that should help.

Decent rule of thumb: 1x | 2.5x | 3x for CampRadius / MeleeDistance / CampRadiusExceed minimum values.
Meaning:
Base value for CampRadius x 1
Base value for MeleeDistance x 2.5
Base value for CampRadiusExceed x 3

So... if your CampRadius is 40 .. your MeleeDistance should be at least 40x2.5 (100), your CampRadiusExceed should be at least 40x3 (120).

Thanks THD! I'm pretty close to on point with all you put up there (don't think i've seen that 1/2.5/3 calc before but that explains alot). The issue i was having was that he'd pull a mob and just sit there when it came to camp. At that point i would just hit attack and he'd start melee but not cast anything from his ini, thus making his aggro shit. With the changes above, I've had very few problems.
