Please do not misunderstand the term "backpack" in this thread. Sadly, as it stands now one cannot purchase a bigger backpack. However, there are other types of backpacks found in Middle-Earth that can help you get some extra silver.
In the Hillshire Ruins, which is directly west of bree, northwest of the Southern Bree Fields, there are a surplus of bears.
Location: 27.8S, 58.7W

This is a great grinding spot for levels 10-14 if you like that sort of thing, but is also a great place to find some extra "merchandise."
In these particular ruins, there are what we know as "Bear Mothers." If you are not strong enough, I would suggest leaving them alone, however, if you can handle them, then you have a possibility of making some nice cash.
When you attack one of the Bear Yerlings that are close to the mother, she will come and attack you. If you are successful in your killing, most of the Bear Mother Dens will have a "Backpack" that you can open up to discover some nice items. A backpack is the equivolent of a chest, or even the seldom cocoons that you can find around spider dens. You open them up to reveal some nice items.
