Tip - High-Level stat food available on Fippy at Level 1

As you may know, Marketplace items that boost player power in any significant way are not purchasable on the progression

servers. However, (oops!), with this morning's patch, the Everlasting Chocolate Bar and the Box of Chocolates now produce

tradable (but temporary) stat food once per minute, and can be purchased on Fippy/Vulak through the marketplace for only

100 credits:

Mana:75, HP: 75, END:75, STA:6, AGI:5, Fire:10, Poison:10 [From the Everlasting Chocolate Bar]

Considering that I am level 16 so far, and my best armor item has a focus but no stats, this is a huge boost. Get it while you can...

Thanks for the quick heads up, Redcented! (also the box of chocolates has the same stats on it's food, but you summon multiple items which can eat up inv space, and seems buggy sometimes not giving anything when used, IMHO stick to the bar! Just remember, bar will summon food to your target, not using the clickly but giving you an error if it's an NPC, and useing the clicky but giving you nothing if you have nothing targeted)

Today's patch did not remove this. Marketplace still shows the purchasable items, and my chocolate bar is still equipped and still works. Woo-Hoo!

I haven't dared to give a piece of chocolate to anyone else because I didn't want it to blow up into a stink. You know some a$$hat would start posting in all caps in the Newbie Zone about the "horrible" unbalance of it all.

to any who didn't know, someone posted about this on the everquest forums and now they've disabled buying it and taken it off progression server refunding station cash.

Yep, I was killing Spiders for silks and suddenly noticed fishing grubs in my ammo slot. Chocolate bar had disappeared while I was playing. :mad:

It was nice, but come on, it wasn't really that unbalancing to the game. Still, there are folks yipping like crazy-people over the availability of some newbie armor.

Some people are control freaks.
