Question - Heroic stats.

Per the June 16th patch notes:
All heroic stats now have diminishing returns for values over 4000.

Has anyone looked into what this means? My total Dex is at 4235 (SK), so I think this might apply to me, but not if it just applies to hDex (ya, not getting to 4000 any time soon). Any new strategies around this (get Dex to 4000, then focus on hAgi or hSta instead?).

It's just forward thinking. Be a while before you can get 4k+ hstat.

Melee classes are still going to want as much hDex as possible up until the point that they cap Crit% at 100%. For zerks, this happens at about 2600 unbuffed. After that they want to push hStr or hSta for the +Atk, melee damage and HP. Other melee classes are not hitting 100% Crit chance with modern gear.

This change essential means nothing for current stat allocation.

Actually, I’ll amend the above…

If you’ve done, are doing, or planning to do the ToV earring quest (which you should for all main or main-lite alts), then go for the threaded boon of potential belt AND use the overdrive proc aug that you get access to from the ToV quest. Then you have both effects.
