Super new to this but i'm trying to make a condition where it'll cast a spell only if another isn't active and trying to time it without the cond won't work. I'm trying to use Roar of the Lion on sham and when that Fades followup with a Talisman of the Sabretooth, as it stands the Talisman always just overwrites the Roar immediately. Any help would be appreciated.

buff=Talisman of the Sabretooth|me|99|cond
cond=!${Me.Buff[Roar of the Lion].ID}
should work...

Is this for a FTP/RoS shammy? Not sure if you're using the TBL spells. For RoS I downgraded to Leopard for a fill-in melee proc. Lions/Roar is a much better dps proc compared to Sabre, but Sabre is higher level so it will overwrite & prevent lions on next cast. So like 2 minutes, but Lions is ready every minute.
Code:
DPS10=Talisman of the Leopard|98|MA|Cond14

Cond14=!${Me.Buff[Roar of the Lion].ID}

Its for an All Access/TBL shaman, yea roar is amazing but during its downtime i wanted to put up Sabretooth. I'll try this out! Thanks!

Do other shaman do something like this as well , with Dissident Roar (the TBL version of Roar)? If so, do you use Sabretooth too ?

I don’t since trash mobs don’t last more than 30 seconds with my melee group. I thought that they both are on the same timer but I could be wrong. If you could get them to fire off consecutively it may be beneficial during named fights but you could use that time stacking dots or casting HOTs instead of saber.

In my DPS Section I have

INI:
DPS5=Dissident Roar|96
DPS6=Talisman of the Sabretooth|96|Cond4

and in my conditions I have.

INI:
Cond4=!${Me.Buff[Talisman of the Sabretooth].ID} && !${Me.Buff[Dissident Roar].ID} && ${Me.GemTimer[Dissident Roar]}

Where
Code:
${Me.GemTimer[Dissident Roar]}

means if Dissident Roar is on cooldown.

Since there is a gap between Dissident Roar wearing off and when the gem is ready again, there is no need for a condition. However, while it is down, and I don't have either buff, I want to use Sabretooth.
Works great for me.

Appreciate all the info i'll test it out

Honestly, don't waste a spell gem on Talisman unless you're in a stacked melee Group (War, Zerk, Bst, Rogue, Bard, Shm). Outside of that, it's unnoticeable in terms of any type of meaningful dps gain.

(Outside of Raid, even in a stacked group, one of your Shaman dots would be more dps if your AA count is decent.)
