So far I have war sham mnk (gold). I’m thinking berserker rogue ranger for final 3 (f2p for now) anyone have better suggestions besides ber ber brd/enc? Will this work without cleric?

With what you have already I'd go WAR, SHM, MNK, BRD, BER, BER

Edit: Did not see you had a WAR already so I adjusted team

Would sk do better you think? Looks like the general consensus is definitely bard zerk zerk so I’ll probably do that. Thanks for the replies everyone.
 
Asking which tank class is better, Warrior or SK will generate a variety of opinions.

To answer your question if a shammy can be the main healer, the answer is yes. I ran a war, shammy, bard, zerk X 2 and....a paladin through TBL with ease. I know it’s weird to have two tank classes in group content but I view pallies as a “battle cleric”. They have a variation of the cleric spells, (assurance, Brell, retort, etc) can battle rez and can, on occasion, out DPS the Zerkers on Undead mobs.

I’ll take it as a mostly moot point then. I guess I should say my goals with the group are to be able to reach level cap and do current era group content.

I think you’re definitely going to need a legit CC (enc/brd). The shaman single and ae punt didn’t cut it for me, especially boxing. I also think you can get by with a SHM solo healing just fine. I went with the CLR just to be extra safe.

Yeah I meant to put bard in the op I was a little toasty when I posted that. I’ve got an enchanter I may rotate in at some point but my understanding is the bard has better buffs for a melee centric group.

I have an SK tank for both of my groups but I hear nothing but great things about warriors. I'm sure you'll be more than fine with that as your MT
 
I personally do not like duplications. I am currently running a Warrior, Cleric, Bard, Mage, x2 rogue mercs. I am planning on picking up a wiz for DPS and Taxi service and the last slot is a toss up either a rogue or berzerker. If I were to not have the mage for CoH and the Wiz for ports, I would take up ranger, rogue, berzerker.
