you wanna give the details of what you were doing?
were you fixing a plugin or creating a new one?

Ohh ok sorry was so happy that i managed by myself.
The problem was that a friend send me a textfile with the exentsion MQ2Melee.cpp
And i dont know anything about this.
So i get Visual C++ from a friend and installed it so that i can compile something.
Than i looked at macroquest2.com a little bit and found the "mainzip" with the source and there was a file called "mkplugin"
Now some hours of trying started.
I started in a dos box in the directory where mkplugin is the following:
mkplugin mq2melee
that created a directory with some files also a mq2melee.cpp
That file i replced with the textfile who i get from friend and double clicked on
"Mq2melee.dsw that start Visual C++ and i saw something with my melee file.
Than i go to build and clicked "Build MQ2Melee.dll".
Some seconds lateri found a dll and some other files in the "Release Directory" from the "Main MQ2 Zip File".
I copied the Mq2Melee.dll to my MQ2 Directory and loaded in eq.
Now it works and i am trying to configure it.
If someone want the textfile post it.
Mq2Melee is like the Autoskills Plugin a little more for Beastlords.
Using Pet focus / Pethold and the AA Feral Swipe.

i the guides section cade has a nice little write up on compiling mq2... which includes adding plugins

If I were you i would so a search for beastlord and then for melee plugin .. see if its posted here.. and if not .. post the code in strats
