I just came back to EQ, and since I had too much Station Cash to even begin to thing how to spend it all (I bought a LOT on a 3x day long ago, to keep for game time, but alas..), I thought I'd make a heroic ranger just for fun. Headshot isn't what it was for sure, but it's still pretty darn good (and even better in a way). After trying to find out what to hunt, I spent level 85 on the cultists in Oceangreen Village for semi decent XP, and now found the goblins in Loping Plains 9 AA:s later. They give really good XP, enough downtime to keep busy with something else but not being tired waiting for spawns. Drop 20-40p cash each, tomes/spells for vendoring and some other quite decent cash stuff. Quite decent bucks as I just made around 10k in an hour just watching my ranger tear it apart.
Are there any decent HS guides out post-nerf or should I just fill this up?

Currently at level 86 and with HS 14, I'm doing Toskirakk grunts. XP is really good from headshotting dark blue mobs (however, they sometimes take 2 headshots before going down - my gear is mainly heroic char stuff). The loot is pretty bad though, since I kill at a fairly low rate compared to light blues.
Again, at 87 and with HS15, Feerrott lizards are plain awesome XP.
Thank god for MQ2HeadShot!
