you need two accounts, one enchanter and one doesnt matter, you can take everything best works warrior
the one who is going to be the pet hast to type /exit. then he goes ld, the enchanter can charm him now and has a normal pet wich can attack etc.
IMPORTANT the second account cant log in until the pet dies, if he rans away after charm break and you loose him second acc cant log in, this happenend to me the first time i tried this lol, pet ran away and i couldnt find him anymore.
now imagine you have a lvl 12 enchanter and a lvl 70 warrior pet ;-)) you kill the whole server empty
it works aswell if you group and one groupmember goes ld, prob is only he cant log in until pet dies lol

just for general info can i do this with lvl 12 charm and charm my 64 necro? and if i do will he still have his pet also does it matter what charm you use?

I am trying to do this but everytime I do /exit with my 66 warrior and try to charm him with my 12 enc it casts on him but dont work....it takes my warrior to the desktop. Does the person getting charmed have to be around same lvl or is it he is just resisting charm?

Ok I dueled my the 2 so i could tash him then make warrior go ld....he owned my arse lol....gona try again w/o doing /duel.

I have a lvl 27 chanter and a lvl 67 mnk, I also wish to know what spell/s are the best to use to try and charm my LD monk... this would be a good "alternative" way to PL a chanter for those who dont have a bard/druid to PL up their n00bs.

Tried doing /q then charming the 66 warrior but it won't work....do I need to try it on a lower lvl character?

I got it working bout an hour or so ago.....on non-pvp you have to duel then the other person goes ld then you charm them....at lvl 12 i can only charm someone who is no higher than 25....so i cant really pl myself

*cough* the person's damage becomes much like a mob's damage at that lvl, so in a way you can if you get the right weapons

i used the charm spell you have at lvl 12, i think it doesnt matter what the other level is, because when ld you can charm anything, one thing might be that lvl 12 charm only works up to level 50 or 46 aaarrrgg
i tried this on zek, did no duel or nothing and it worked everytime...

Zek is pvp sever right? I am on a non-pvp server and it only worked when I /duel then went ld,but wouldnt work on my 66 warrior cause it said you target is to high for this spell....then he killed me lol

thats because he turns into a mob untill the server finally kicks him, you can only charm an ld character with the max lvl that your charm will hit.

what happens to Pet when it dies, does your high level war toon die???

I will have to check this out tomorrow with my 40 enchanter. Question I have is how long does the charm last (just normal timer?), and when pet does break charm is he gonna come looking for the enchanter to kill again?
