Question - Hail and Well Met!

Sorry Just logged off FV.

Not sure where to post this it a mix of feed back and questions. I kept running into problems but rewatched the vids and saw settle steps I missed .. like having the MA targeted doing a /mac kissassist
I just tried Very vanilla .. too a couple of days to get MQ2 to load right. It been changed a little since the Vids were made ( creating profile dialog box for example) but it is mostly intuitive.
Question how to add the window shortcut after the profile been made or do I have to remove and redo a new one?
Kissassist mostly works with the posted ini files for the class/lvl but there is info missing to get the toon to work right?
Is there data needed to be added to the ini file or load a /MQ2... or /DGE macro need to be created to prompt the desired behavior.
I like the shammy ini even though he likes to over shrink everyone and buff to his hearts delight except SOW.
Enchanter is mostly FOM does not always debuff (if I take over his toon for a sec and cast Tash he will finish debuffing it it.
I know the info is in the forums .. I am excited.
once I get a good understanding I will create a group at level 1 and run them through to COV

sounds like you're off to a good start.

since your questions are mostly about KA, i moved your post from the "plugin" section to the "kissassist support" section

Each resource on RG has an Overview / Discussion Thread and either a link to their wiki or tabs with FAQ, Commands, Etc.
Please make sure to post in the respective discussion thread, and check the FAQ/Commands/Wiki for information before posting.

kiss inis allow customization. so spend some time at the kiss wiki and you'll quickly figure out how to do that customization

make sure you either target your MA when you /mac kissassist or /mac kissassist <name> where "<name>" is the actual name of your person you wanted treated as the MA

Hiya Barrville and welcome to RG!

Definitely spend some time looking over the KA section that Sic posted. Lots to soak in there but if you are familiar with editing files at all, you can pick it up pretty quick. The ini's other folks have posted are great and a huge help but they do need some tweaking to work for your toon or playstyle. Find a small thing about how one of your toons is reacting and then reference the KA wiki and see how to modify that ini to make it work. Take it slow and ask questions when you run into a wall =)

The RGMERCS Lua is easier to learn on than Kissassist and doesn't require any ini editing on your part. I suggest starting your journey with the RGMERCS Lua.

Sounds like you are in for a blast of fun. Learning the KisssAssist ini, is a FANTASTIC way to learn the boxing method. Takes more time setup, but its a very valuable method. The other forms of automation are nice, but not the best method to learn. Once you have learned, you can recognize the use of other tools like plugins or luas. There is no 'wrong' way to play or begin. You will find your path and add things as you go, doing too much all at once makes for confusion on how and what each new tool is doing, a lesson in frustration in my opinion. Welcome !
