Hi!

I just set up MQ2 and created my kissassist for my character just by typing /mac kissassist - It did it's thing, but I got some error messages such as "Version mismatch Detected, Writing Aliases this can take up to 1 min" And Ninjadvloot Version mismatch detected, writing aliases" and many more

I am still reading the guide for kissassist but it is pretty confusing for someone who has no code skills at all(not that it's needed but you know).

Found a thread for Compiled INI List for kissassist, do I just copy that and past it into my KissAssist_toonname.ini ?

Forgive me, this is so confusing! A link perhaps to dump it down for me, would be greatly appreciated.

EDIT: Dont worry I figured it out :) TRIAL N ERROR right!

Congrats on figuring it out! :)

If you are starting out all you really need is some basic care and common sense in editing your KissAssist_toonname.ini

What I usually do when starting a character and class that I have forgotten to play is this: first let KA create the KissAssist_toonname.ini for your character with /mac kissassist

Then I open up an existing .ini that is close to level and expansions from the wonderful list of .ini files here:
https://www.redguides.com/community/threads/29000-Compiled-INI-List

Then I go through my fresh .ini and copy and paste over the relevant .ini lines from the existing .ini . This takes a few minutes but lets me find out any discrepancies (missing spells, clickies, mounts etc) between my char and whoever made the existing .ini .

I do this by having both .ini files open as two split windows in Notepad++ and going down line by line.

Of course, you could just take the existing .ini rename it to KissAssist_toonname.ini and hope it works out of box and then edit any problems later. :)

I take it you already read through the links in here

Hi and thanks for the reply!

The only issue I am currently having is my warrior + enchanter.
Warrior will not get aggro when group gets an add, also the enchanter will not mez!

I have also noticed the enchanters merc (healer) will not heal the tank at times.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Mercs sometimes act weird, for safety I make tank's merc the healer and use caster merc with chanter.

There should be an aggro section in your warrior ini compare it with a working .ini from the big .ini collection.

Also for warrior you can try autowarrior.mac to see if that helps: https://www.redguides.com/forums/threads/49545-Auto-Macros-**MEGA-THREAD**?highlight=autowarrior

For chanter mez check if it is active and the correct mode(1 for both AOE and single target mez) and the right spells, levels, minimum mobs to mez are set: https://www.redguides.com/community/threads/26002-KissAssist-Instructions-amp-Settings-Info#mez

Will check when I get home! Thanks you for the information.
