Guide - Griklor the Restless with MQ2War MQ2Berzerker MQ2Cleric MQ2Bst & Kissassist

A few folks have asked me some questions recently on how I do Griklor the Restless mission with the CWTN class plugins and Kissassist - so I figured i'd toss a video together of me doing the mission.

I'm sure there are plenty of other ways to do this mission - this just happens to be how I do it.

My group is just group geared and not max'd out ToV group gear at that.

Yes, that should be fixed, and has nothing to do with this thread =p

its not available for purchase yet - same with mq2cleric and mq2eskay - but they are in your VV folder (we're not asking for suggestions or feedback at this time as they're in process)

I'm max AA, T3 visible, and a mix of T3 ToV and T3 TBL on the tank for the other slots (some of the other toons still have T2 TBL, heh) - I go full tilt HDex on my warrior, and try and go full ac augs as i can. I only have the chase gloves done from TBL (still need to go back and finish achieves for the other items).

I do have mq2tributemanager to turn on when fighting named, etc

All group gear, however - no raid pieces, and there are several things i still need to go back and get/finish. My dudes aren't great, but i get by

I do sincerely miss streaming eq - was starting to get a good rhythm to it, and get a good handling of mq2 at the same time. Alas we know what happened with that

Make sure you have a pearl in your inventory. One of the spells cast by this AA require it and will recast every time the aa is up if you don't have it.

the spamming was due to a few issues which has been fixed - again unrelated to this thread :p

Should not have read it ! stopped my kissassist start that did 2 buffs and promptly crashed eq /sadness <- totally wrong thread

Supposedly flying faster too, tried it on test and though little bit faster but don't really matter.
The speed increase would mean that the spot he drops down at would be different each time.

yeah definitely felt longer than 10 seconds. It almost felt like it might be "10 seconds per threshhold where he would normally go up and i pushed him into the next threshold and 10s restarted?"

He stay way past his time to fly up!
Said fight when he was about 15 feet past where my group was standing, every time he emoted I stood still and emote happened as he flew over me (so much for my guess the spot would move)

Intentionally did not dps quickly.
still got him to 50% /boggle (2 dps on twiddling thumbs, so that was sk/cleric/shaman/rogue bard/bl on hold)
4 adds spawned, killed them during his 2x pass for emote
landed 1 add spawned, killed him to 20%, killed add
3 more adds spawned, killed them during his 2x pass
landed 1 add spawned, killed him, killed add

Yawned, wiped sleep from eyes, opened chest

Griklor went to 100% after going up on his mount each time we beat him down now that he loses his debuffs on patch.

Changes are afoot... which is hopefully limited to the raid, but could have spillover effects in the group mission.
