Just wanted to pop in and say Hello to the community. I have alt-tabbed up to 3 accounts before but never tried anything advanced like Vanilla.

I plan on starting some toons from scratch - that way I learn how to box as I level up. Should I care much about server population when choosing a new home since I theoretically have a group with me at all times? Does anyone have any recommendations?

some people argue that more people = more eyeballs which is bad
some people argue that fewer people = bad economy and leaves the few people there with nothing to do but go find mq'ers to report

both arguments hold weight.

for me, in the end finding a person or couple of people to hang with is more important than the server

If you stay to yourself, I haven't had any problems. It all depends on how you set it up, don't setup and go AFK for hours on end while you kill stuff

Greetings and well met. The biggest thing (IMO) is to just ask questions here. Most folks will be glad to help you out and get you started. We have some great minds here and I have not seen that many problems that were not solved by our folks or have run across the same problem.

SSSSooooooo!!!!! Just ask and remember there is no stupid questions. Just the folks that don't ask.

I've found on old school live servers if you just stay out of the way you are much less likely to be bothered. They tend to be low pop, so you rarely if ever step on anyones toes. Also the newest expac will be crowded the greatest chance to be in someone's way is there.
