Question - Gear up in GoD?

Good day,

could someone point me a direction how to gear up in GoD please?

I have 3 groups all Kod“taz flagged and did some named hunting so far. All I got are spells and type 8 augments.

What is the „normal“ way to gear up in GoD? As I said I can use a raid of 3 groups atm.

Typical strat is get qvic flagged and farm goats. With 18 you should be farming elemental planes if you haven’t already. Fire and water minis are very easy with 18. Ikkinz 1/2 raids the first event only has a 12 hour lockout so similar to farming potime trials, again easy with 18. Might be able to do more in those. Yxtta primals drop good gear snd the ac augs as well.

Yxtta primals are bugged in AOC sadly. Otherwise would be a great source of item farm.

KT and Yxtta has a bunch of raid-gear augs to plug into what you get from ikkins. There are other zones you mightr be able to do the first boss(es) in. Dont worry if you can't full clear.

CBQ you'll want - you need to get into Uqua to farm some mats to make the final gear, but its well worth it

**EDIT** - Yxtta primals are BACK ON THE MENU BOYS. They have been fixed and puzzle works!

Didn’t realize yxtta was bugged. Been busy with work and progression haven’t even zoned in there yet. Did the recent AoC patch not fix it?

AOC patch worked well; the puzzle is bugged in AOC. You click the statue thats supposed to give you a clue, but no emote comes up. If you can manage to guess the 12 in order (or use the other guys MQ2 to use an active hack) you;re free to access in AOC otherwise, still broken from years ago.

This is the expac if you're not raiding, you are banking AAs, squaring away epics and getting ready for the 70 push. Qvic gear is good, and it's relevant even at 70.

Basically, get ready to be an expansion behind from here on out if you're small-manning.

Back in 2004 GoD was known as the guild breaker. (plus WOW came out around that time)

If I remember correctly one of the devs fessed up that GoD was originally meant to be level 70 expansion, that's why the raids were so hard in era.

Omens of War after that is much more group friendly.

we don't have any active hacks at RG, so no warping or otherwise methods of bypassing stuff.

and i don't think doing mount jiggle stuff happens

Used to be able to illusion but that has been fixed too.

Suppose you could guess, Only about half a billion combinations

Ikkinz group trials offer some decent items that is on par with P 1-2. With 18 you can easily down Time P1 Fire and Water. Earth is also easy but takes a while. air is hardest.
Tipt offers a P1 gear bracer. Can be worth it depending.
With 24+ ikkinz 1 and 2 raids are doable for quarm level loot.

If you cook a qvic DZ you can typically get 1-3 goats along with cyno and zoo. If you have 2-3 groups you should be able to do both zoo and cyno fairly easy. Another good one is the first named in Inktuta, Nijacka the Scourge can be solo pulled and killed every few hours without triggering loot lockout just a replay timer. This one is nice because it also drops leg molds.

Found this out while farming brass mod for my bard, but ikkinz 2 only gives the full lockout of all 4 final mobs are killed. If you kill 3 and run out you only have a 24 hour replay and get 3/4 loot.
