Question - Frontal Backstab

Hello all I just bought chaotic stab which allows me to backstab from the front.

However when my rogue is tanking it never backstabs and instead tries to bash from the front, what can I change to make sure it always backstabs even in the frontal arc?

Rogue is in her 60's

Bash? Does your rogue use a shield?

If your rogue is controlled by mq2melee

/melee bash=0
/melee save

Rogue is barbarian and is using slam to bash. I already tried what you suggested doesn't work

I believe you need "Seized Opportunity" aa for mq2melee to stab from the front. Do you have that?

I'm guessing you can disable everything mq2melee that shares timers with backstab (backstab/bash/slam/kick/etc), then do a mq2melee holy like

holyflag0=1
holyshit0=/if (${Melee.Combat} && ${Me.AbilityReady["Backstab"]}) /doability "Backstab"

Then that will try to backstab whenever if you have attack on.

I'm not experience with rogues though, just going off a quick look at mq2melee code/

Tried that as well Maskoi, it stops me bashing but backstab isn't used still. I will report back when I reach 65 and let you know if its working! Thanks for your help all!

That little script now lets me backstab from front at level 61, thank you Winnower

Well just as I replied that trick stopped working, very strange.

I reached 65 and it still wont backstab from the front, even with the seized opportunity AA.

If you guys can help me with a kissassit and mq2melee ini for getting my 65 rogue to backstab from the front I would be eternally grateful
