I found this on another site and thought it had some uses. Figured I would share it. I am not having much luck getting it to upload on the attachments and I lost my hosting because someone was spamming again so I am going to put it as a link and hope it works.

file attached below

It is the GM manual for Everquest. Maby red can DL it and put it up here so we don't have to have it linking from another forum.

On 8/20/05, EQ Unzipped acquired the full rights to Everquest Stripped and made it available to all full members at no additional charge. We also hired the maker of the program to make some of our flash and graphics. Thanks Bandrent.

Not sure if this is advertisement for a site you work for...or just throwing something out there.

Either way, the GM manual would be interesting as long as you're not confusing the Guide manual with the GM manual. The guide manual has been out on the internet for quite some time now and really doesn't offer any insight into how GM's work at all.

He sold the rights to eq stripped for $200

Well I sold the rights and some art work. He also gave me access to the site. It looks like the Guide manual. I had never seen it before. Is anyone else able to dl it from that link? If you are post it here and ill edit that link out of my post.

Gives me a page not found error.

1.0 Guide Ethics - A Guide is Always A Professional (last revised 4/26/04)

I think that answers the question....

For those playing the home game - This isn't a GM guide, nor do i believe such a thing exsists, GMs probably goto some EQ "Learn to Nerf" Seminar.

I was rather interested to see the commands they have. I have not tryed them all with the gm plugin but the /hideme worked. I was thinking about going around and hiding everything in a zone. :)

Not to sure about how safe that GM plugin is, how long have you used it?

I have just used it a couple times. going to check it out and see what the plugin will do now that i have some of the commands.

Thx for Posting this hehe is nice to have something to read once in a while ;) Kinda interesting how many rules they have lol

That part interesting, is the free account, they dont seem to flag a account, seem to be automatic when you write a command, so now only need to find this command and try...

it is just an offset program that injects offsets into eq without the need for MQ2. you can make one with tranermaker kit.

Accounts are provided for you when you become a GM/Guide. I'm pretty sure (without reading that) that it is the really old Guide handbook.

Also, don't use any GM commands, they will have you instantly banned the second you log off. That's the most surefire way to achieve ban status.

I dont know about all that. I have used some of the commands and i did not get an instant ban.

so exaclty where can i find this GM plugin? sounds pretty cool and since EQEmu wont work >.< i may try this on a diff. account

When you become a guide you are given an account to use when guiding, also the account you used when you applied for the program is flagged and put into a free status. There is a command in the chat area you can type to see your account status, I forget what it is now, it might be in that P&P though.

My account still seems to have some kind of a flag even though it's not free anymore, because when they implemented veteran AAs I got all of them. A friend who was guide also had the same thing happen.
