Force FPS

Anyone know if there is a way to force EQ to maintain the regular FPS even if the EQ window isn't in focus? Everytime I switch to another program the FPS goes from ~40 to 5!

Any help would be great.

Is MQ2FPS plugin in your MQ compile? also are you running EQWindows or something similar? There is also an FPS setting in the eq.ini file I believe.

all of the above but EQWindows, last time i used that my CPU usage went through the roof, thanks for the info I'll try all of it tonite.
