Please post if you figure out what the foraging changes really mean:

"Increased the chance to forage tradeskill components rather than food in Gates of Discord zones."

It seems clear that rare forages like Taelosian Tea Leaves should be found more often. (It took me a week to forage 100 leaves on my bard. Couple of months ago.) But I'm wondering if the food drops will be reduced as well. You can make about 1-2k/day foraging/fishing in Natimbi just by vendoring the stacks of multi-pound tuna and meat. Is this a nerf-in-progress? Or is it intended to please the tradeskill community?

Probably meant to please the TLP community because ... who else would really care?

/em sighs. I used to have a trio of rangers many years ago, but don't know enough to recover the passwords. I guess I need to bite it and level up a few rangers again. ;-) I soooo wish I had started up EQ again a month earlier to get all those heroic flags. At this point I'll have to start from scratch. But, yeah, Rangers get a lot of harassment. Still, they have some compensating advantages that often get overlooked. Thanks.

Druids get the AA as well! I've been using druids equipped with Fisherman's companion, stacks of bait (yay for the change to a 1000 stacking) and just going and parking them fishing and foraging around Norath while I work.
