What you can do is where you see the ramp from below you want to put your group at the end of the left wall. Away from the ramp. You can fight him anywhere in that room just dont get to close to the ramp from below. Since add wanders that ramp. I have fought him in that room many times when I am doing that mission with people so they can get there reward and credit for the mission.

just a correction - there are 2 Fragments, but only 1 is named Draygun. The other is named Fragment of Vishimtar. Vish is the yellow con'd dragon.
there are 2 bosses in the easy mission .. Shadow of draygun as well as Fragment of draygun. The easiest way to kill both warp to the yellow con kill it . warp to red con agro it and warp back to yellow con's spot . Red will warp to you and u kill it there.both drop loots 200+.. they are both up ONLY IN THE EASY VERSION .. the hard version has only the red con.. again .. to stop gating.. fight at yellow conss spot .. fight red con there.. the red will not gate from that point.

Normal I would guess you could probaly do it around 12k Buffed, Hard I would recommend 13k min to 15k plus warrior using defensive and burn him down with in 3 mins. He hits HARD after defensive wears off also he is very resistent so he may be unslowed for most of the fight.

12.5k buffed pally, 2100ac, full AAs, fighting normal head to head with just constant cheals means death. The only way to win is to kite some and stand toe to toe some. I imagine with defensive it becomes trivial. By the way neither BL nor Enchanter could slow the normal one. Haven't even tried the hard one since normal is so tough.

I had a Beastlord in my group said he got it slowed on Hard. The enchanter just gave up after like 10 attempts.

disease slow is hard to land, but does sometimes on the Yellow Shadow

war/cle/cle/enc/pal/nec and this thing is a breeze. doesn't like to go to ZI so I have to take it outside first. Lots of hp.
Since that isn't so descriptive, let me post what i've found works.
I usually warp to him, then warp to just outisde of the room. once he's on me out there, I warp to succor, and he shows up just fine.
Note that I don't slow it. 1 cle chain CH, other cle elixer/POV. Nec is just there for cheerleading :P
Save defensive for when it runs OOM. you'll know when it runs OOM... it'll start swinging. Alot. and hard. Saves alot of mana and is alot easier to tank that way.

Currently, Normal is more difficult then Hard. On top of that, both are dropping Hard loot.
My sk can tank him fairly well, but defensive = the wins. I'll mess with it some more tonight I think I just need to spam Pious Light instead of trying to chain CH. Back to back flurries for almost 2k a swing = pain.

This boss is a joke if your characters are advanced enough. 400-500 well-spent AA, and Time gear is all you need. My war is 15.6/2900 buffed, and cleric 10.7/10, and when I warped at first to succor it brought me up top into the dome. I 2box'd the guy down to about 40% but realized the other 4 people in my grp would probably like to do something. Here is how I do this mission in 10mins.
GRP SETUP: WAR CLE 2ndary healer (Sham advised for Panther/Champ) DPS DPS DPS (can be any class as long as it's a melee)
Step1) Setup camp. Move your chars to the other side of the entry room.
Step2) On your cleric, make two hotkeys. /warp loc 370 70 73 and /warp succor
Step3) /tar Frag.
Step4) /warp target. Wait until you see him swing, or cast.
Step5) Warp to the loc above. Wait until you see him appear on top of you.
Step6) Warp to succor.
Strategy for fight:
This mob is a necromancer and he has alot of mana. The first half of the fight is better spent DPS'ing. With my crappy grp that generates about 700-1000 total DPS, it's a long half. You should be able to be conservative here with the CH's. I would reccomend CH around 90% on any appopriate tank. (Note, if you're taking almost 2k hits, you need to get alot more shielding. This mob maxes at 1762 on me at 24% shield.) When the mob runs OOM, /disc defen. From this point on the 2ndary healer needs to keep a HoT on you, and spotheals. Chain cast CH as soon as gem pops, even if it only heals for 10-15%. If the mob gets a solid round of flurries and you see tank's hp percent-wise is lower then Time-To-Cast on CH, duck the CH, hit Divine arb, lay down a Pious and hop back on the CH horse.
As long as you are smart about his casting and match it to your healing strategy, this boss is a joke. I can do the fight solo heal but my toons have some acceptable gear.
Good luck and hope this makes it easier for others. BOTH VERSIONS of this are giving the 'hard' mission btw, even with the plugin provided, as well as legit request.

Around how many hps does this guy have? If no one know the direct amount or what not, do you think a group of a 14k tank 2300 a.c max def, 70 zerker, 70 beast, 70 cleric, and 70 shammy could handle this on there own, all of us can warp back to him without a problem as well.
The boss is a pussy if you have a warrior. I'm using my Sk that was my backup after my warrior got banned lolers. I'll figure out a way to drop this guy with my group of 6 easily it was just 5am while I was trying it, and had other things to do. I have a ton of dps in my 6 box group it's just a matter of healing. I may make macros just for this bitch.
