Heard this and I don't have Fable 2 to verify but here it is. If you have a property, set inflation to 100%

Save game

Go to Xbox dashboard and change date to 2025

Load the saved game. You should have earned some money. Save again.

Reset clock

repeat

supposedly makes thousands of gold every few minutes this way.
