Hello, I was wondering if anyone else is having a problem as of yesterday where everquest is randomly Crashing, and mq2 has to block the send to sony.

I thought nothing of it at first 1 client crashed w/e.... i rebooted my computer it ran for 3 hours all of my clients crashed.. thought odd.. rebooted reloaded it worked fine (this was yesterday).

Now today randomly 1-2 clients crash every 2 hours Im using the latest MQ2 and game client its been working perfectly fine i have changed NOTHING.. I'm running kissassist when this happens.

I didnt know if anyone else was having this problem.

There are some reported CTD at MQ2 and the fixes were released a day or 2 ago. I will compile the new source code tonight and upload it. It may solve the issues.

I only have it while logging in 6 chars at a time, there is mostly one that crashes.

And if I use MQ2Navigation in some zones.

I've had this happen quite a bit of late. I do think there is a bug if you are wearing 2 of the same type of clicky you seem to crash every few hours when rebuffing.

It has been happening to me since early March or so. It seems that has to do with the Mq2map, or at least that is what i am messing with shortly before it happens.

I have to turn off maps and back on to clear highlights and to go into certain zones if there are too many items for EQ to render (known EQ bug). My off social is /plugin Mq2map unload then the on is /plugin mq2map load followed by /mac map, then /highlight color 0 0 255 whatever color white is. I find that white stands out better on the map then purple especially if the mobs are grey con.

Some zones such as EW in ROF will crash the client if I turn the map off then back on. It does not always happen but does frequently in EW. Shortly after I turn it on and back on within a min or two the client will crash and I will have to reload.

Also sometimes in map there will be false spawns on the map such as corpses of mobs already looted but are still on the map. If i select them via the map the client will crash.

That sounds like a lag issue. are you able to run the map ok with just one toon logged in?

Maskoi,
I run 4 toons at the moment but only 1 has the MQ2map turned on, the one i lead with. I will have to try with just one toon and see what happens.
