just checked the site. It uses the ROF2 build, so yes -- mq2 will work (RG offers an ROF2 build even). I have no idea what the server rules about mq2 are.

Well... the fact that mq2 isn't "permitted" on the server doesn't mean you can't use it on the server. It uses a client that mq2 supports, so expect mq2 use. They could do p99-style protection, but then you'd have to get an extra dll and implicitly consent to malware/spyware being installed on your computer, which means drop that server like a hot potato because hell no.

Agreed dannuic, I would bet you are 100% correct, it would work.

I was just thinking it probably wasn't worth the trouble, since they threaten the "ban".

I tried RG MQ2 for EQ Reborn, and it worked but had some issues.
Notably, kissassist doesn't appear to work properly. MQ2 Nav works, other plugins work, map, all that. kissassist echos commands into the MQ2 window, but just kinda sits there.
I am by no means an expert on it, as most of my time is on servers that use ancient compiles of MQ2 with few plugins. I could be doing things wrong on my end.

I get this when running the rof2 build.

That's a normal error to see if you're running Very Vanilla Live or Test at the same time. It can be ignored.

Another possibility is that you have some old plugins, or installed over an old Live or Test copy.

We haven't tested kiss on emu in awhile, if you'd like to report issues please do!

I will do so, but I want to investigate a little more before I do that. It could be entirely user error. I didn't get too far into it, just about 15min test run.

I don't think EQTrainer has RoF2 client available, does it? If not, that could be causing your problems

Anyone else crashing when teleporting on rof2 eqreborn? Even after he fixed an issue I’m getting same outcome.
