afer downloading and unpacking I ran the installation.
The MSI did not show a certificate to install, but the installed exe had it.
The installation of the certificate went throught with a sucess-message.
after starting EQLog-Parser, it freezed at "reading Settings":

Even a reboot and reinstallation of the certificate did not change behavior.

You might get some offhand (oh do this) help, but this resource is here for conv, not because the author is here.
 
Tried to give this a go before, and now with the new release. The install doesn't finish, ever.
Win 10, nothing special. Download archive, 2 files in a folder. Run the exe. Go thru the install dialogs until next brings me to the actual install bit, and it just sits there never doing anything. I am admin, tried running it as admin directly, tried compat modes, just no go. Tried running the msi directly, also no go.

Maybe just lemme have an archive with it in, I can stick it in a folder myself and run it?

This requires dot Net 8, which is not part of the default windows install and not automatically installed via windows update. You have to manually install .net 8.

So I had to install EQLoGParser For my Raiding Guild I also Installed their Trigger package. That was a nightmare. Now I really have 2 questions.
1. How do (I get stuff to appear on my EQ Screen?
2. I installed Their Trigger package But I don't have any Overlays of my own Installed. Will Their Triggers Pop up on screen or do I have to install an overlay for that?

I found it pretty detailed when I first started using eqlp and then messed with things to learn more on my own. If you get stuck, shoot me a PM. Happy to confuse you some more with my limited knowledge =)
