How do I send a /bcga command for my toons to use a gate potion? I know how to cast it which works for my caster group, but I have an all melee (except the shaman) now.

TIA.

Solution
/bcga //useitem "Gate Potion"

edit the answer to provide more information

/bcga //useitem "Name of the Item You want to use"

/bcga //relocate gate using mq2relocate is a good option as it will provide using gate AA as well as the various gate potions
/bcga //useitem "Gate Potion"

You can also use mq2relocate. Sending /bcga //relocate gate will have everyone use gate aa or potion. It's nice because a single command works for any group makeup (assuming melee have potions). Also has many other relocation options.

You didn't use literally "gate potion" in your command did you? Because that's not the name of an item. Did you replace "gate potion" with the actual name of the specific item that you want your characters to use?
Yes I followed his instructions.

I'll use the proper name in a test later.

To remember :
/bcga/ = all your group
/bcaa/ = all your chars connected on your EQBC server

After add the command you want to send : /command
So for all your char to sit, it is /bcaa//sit
For send an commande to all to use there "gate to PoK" /bcaa//useitem Drunkard's Stein (use item Drunkard's Stein) or /bcaa//useitem Gate Potion.

There are multiple gate pots in EQ, so without knowing which one you've got in your inventory, all we can do is give you the right syntax, but you'll have to fill in some of the blanks.

Regarding EQBC, you can send any command that is an EQ command or an MQ command. Regarding MQ commands, that refers to any command in base MQ, added theough aliases, binds, or plugins.

So if you can use the command on a character by themselves without EQBC then you can broadcast the command to any character connected to your EQBC server.
