Question - EQ won't launch while MQ is running - help?

EQ won't launch while MQ is running. I installed RG Launcher. In the launcher I installed Very Vanilla. Ran MacroQuest, the MQ icon in in the task bar. Attempted the launch EQ, it crashed and generated the attached crash log. Can anyone help with this?

Please don't attach dmps, please just share the crash ID (dumps have the potential for having identifying information in them.

launch EQ normally without RG to make sure it is updated
Then close out of MQ and launch RG launcher to make sure it is fully updated

Will do. I assume the crash ID is the numbers after the underscore in the file name?

Crash ID is what pops up on the crash dialog, you can ctrl+c on the crash dialog and paste it in. I have your crash that you posted though. I haven't loaded symbols in a while from RG so it'll probably be a bit before I look at it.

This is a graphics crash, but I don't see anything conflicting. Make sure you have the DX9 Runtime installed, bu tother than that I'm not sure.

The game runs good when MQ isn't in the task bar, but it does run fine without. How do I know if I have DX9?

normally, missing dx9, it tells you mq failed to find a dependancy. is this on live, tlp, test, emu?

I didn't see anything in the graphics overlays that would be causing it (that was the first thing I looked for). Doesn't mean it's not there, but I didn't see it. DX9 June2010 redist is this one: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=8109
