Eq Patcher Question

Hello all,

Since this last small patch every time I load the game to play it takes 8 minutes to "patch" the files in my Legends of Norrath folder. It starts with cards.ccl (or som card file) then scans and updates those files... each and every time and each an every account I am playing.

It is a minimum of 24 minutes to log my characters into world at that pace.

What can I do to get an older .exe file or make it skip "patching" ?

Making a shortcut with the following in use to work - no idea if it still does

C:\Program Files\EverQuest\eqgame.exe" patchme

(assuming thats the correct folder)

Doesn't work. Still taking more than 5 minutes to "update" files. It worked fine before they did whatever it was they did in this last patch. It has something to do with my Legends of Norrath files and I don't even play that game.

Ok just tried it

"C:\Program Files\Sony\EverQuest\eqgame.exe" patchme

has to be that exactly inc the " - worked fine, bypassed all the login issue, not sure about the LoN thing.
