When running MQ my EQ client crashes when resizing my screen. EQ does not crash when resizing the screen without MQ running. I’ve attached the dump file. This did not happen on my old computer.

I figured out this issue with me was caused by MSI Afterburner software. If you are running any Video card software (not referring to drivers or NVIDIA Experience) try disabling it, then switching screens and see if it fixes.

This happens to me as well, I have MSI Afterburner on my computer but its not running. What I figured out was if I lock my computer (kids in house) and turn off my screens (two monitors with different screen resolutions). That will crash EQ everytime just about. I just lock my screens now and dont turn off the monitors, somehow that moves EQ windows around and crashes it.

Does the same happen if your monitor goes into sleep mode ?

My monitors never go into sleep mode, or my computer I have all that turned off. I have ISboxer running with 5 mini windows on my right screen (smaller monitor and resolution) at bottom. and left screen (large monitor and resolution) is full windowed mode EQ client. Guessing when monitors turn off it reverts to the right screens smaller size?!? which somehow kills the clients. IDK i kinda solved it by just not turning off my monitors. Just saw the post figured I'd mention its a problem for me as well. Wish it worked better but I can live with this solution. Thanks for reply so fast!

Now I'm experiencing a new video issue with MQ2 running.... I now partially see through hills, trees, and characters, mobs.... are there video settings in MQ2?

this sounds like a video driver or other software (like the aformentioned afterburner) issue
