Ok, getting money at lower levels is hard because those lower mobs are poor! When you're killing in the Gloomingdeep Mines, loot everything from the spiders and rats. They sell for silver and copper. After you get a lot of copper and silver, go to the bank and change it from copper to silver, to gold and to platinum. Once you move to the cobolts, you can loot the bronze but thats only good for weapons that don't sell. If you see named cobolts, kill them, they normally drop spells. If you're a warrior or other tank or just can't use that spell, pick it up and sell it. Another way to get money is to loot the spider silks and give 3 individual ones to the Vah Shir woman you'll learn about in the tutorial. You'll get armor, wear what she gives you but if you already have a full set or get double, sell the doubles for gold and change it into platinum. It only takes 10 gold to get one platinum. Here's a list of the money changes:
1 platinum= 10 gold= 100 silver= 1,000 copper
After moving to Orc Hill and Crushbone, take the shoulder pads and belts that they drop and take them to the warrior guildmaster in Kaladim. If you're low faction with the Dwarves, you'll have to sell them to another merchant. If you move to the castle in Crushbone, be careful of Ambassador Dvinn, Emperor Crush, the Lord and the Royal Guard who is invisible. Dvinn drops a Dragoon Dirk that you can sell for a reasonable amount, Crush drops a tunic you can either wear or sell for about 18 platinum. The Lord doesn't drop much but what he does sells for a couple platinum and the Royal Guard drops a bronze dagger which sells for some platinum.
In Dawnshroud Peaks, not much good stuff drops but when fighting the Tribals, pick up the bricks of ore that they drop. The ore is heavy but they can sell from 10-25 platinum.
In City of Mist, there are plenty of names that drop some gear that's good if you haven't gotten much money. If you have better, loot the gear and either sell it or if it's better, wear it and sell what you took off. Sell it in the Bazaar and other's will buy it.
For The Hole, you'll need shrink or a necro or sk to get the key. The mobs there drop jewels and good platinum.
In Dranik's, drops are sort of rare but once they do drop, consider yourself rich. Augmentations and good items drop there a lot like Swamp Walker's Veil (most common) from the Ukun Gutfeaster.
In Noble's Causeway, the mobs are VERY hard, and adds are more than likely possible unless the puller knows what they're doing. Again, drops here are rare but once they drop, they are REALLY nice and don't have to drop from names but it is very easy to get lost.
Bloodfields is much like Dranik's only a little harder. Jewels and good items drop here and like most OoW zones, drops are rare but sell for a lot!
Muramite Proving Grounds is hard, you need a well setup group. It's only a one time thing because this zone is a test of your skill. Drops there are good too.
Ruined City of Dranik is also very hard but names are plentyful and VERY nice drops! With a nice group, you could probably get about 5 good drops in 1 hour or less, I've done it with my 62 Druid.
