Question - EoK HA dropping Chase Loots?

People are complaining the EoK drop rates have decreased in the static zones as you can read here below:
I found it interesting that one of the Devs (page 2 #30) mentions the only time they increase those rare drop rates is during holidays like 4th of July!

Personally, I have not changed a thing and have seen a decrease in chase loot dropping.

It ultimately is sheer random luck. To get to a statistical point of significant difference in drop rates being evident you would have to kill well over a million mobs to start to get into the realm of odd. I've seen 2 the last 10 months, both happened to drop within 40 mobs killed of each other. Whether these items exist on the mob or not is determined on spawn. So each mob has lets say a 1/5000 chance of spawning with a rare loot on it.

People say it's luck and stats, but that's bullshit. I've been farming EoK since shortly after release and there was an undeniably better drop rate for the first couple of months of the expansion. I was pulling one or two a day with two groups running for a while. Then all of a sudden it dropped to one a week (or worse). And it's been that way ever since.
