this is the snippet of my buffs for my enchanter. For whatever reason he will not buff my melee toons with haste. He will buff 1 melee toon with haste (I have 4) and then he buffs himself with haste and stops. Any help is appreciated!

*edit Would like to add that this is only the case when i'm using visions of grandeur. If i change that line to 'aanya's quickening|melee' he will buff all melee and does not haste himself.
 
Post your full INI for your enchanter and also specify for me what your group make-up is please.

group make up is warrior, monk, enchanter, bard, cleric, rogue.
 
I don't see anything jumping out in your INI that is glaringly wrong. I would try a couple of things, and all independent of each other and reply back with results:

Scenario 1)
Remove the Visions of Grandeur from the pet buff list. Try this and see if it makes a difference. If so, I would forgo spam hasting the chanter pet anyway.

Scenario 2)
Replace your Buff2 line with this(copy and paste please, don't type it):
Buffs2=Wondrous Rapidity|Melee
Then run the macro, see if WR works properly, then if so, remove the text 'Wondrous Rapidity' and replace with 'Visions of Grandeur' and re-run
Additionally, make sure your doing /mac kissassist on the correct tank target from your enchanter when you start up KS

Scenario 3)
Remove the '|Melee' so you just have:
Buffs2=Visions of Grandeur
Does this properly buff the entire group? If so and this is the only resolution, I would roll with this for now since you have 4/6 melees in your group until we can triage the |melee issue

Try these steps above and report back results of each independently tested. My chanter is 1 yellow bub from dinging 60. So later tonight I'll mem VoG and play with it myself and let you know.
 
Does the !MA tag actually work on buffs?

it does...it allows me to click the buff off on my war and my enchanter won't try to recast. If i dont use that, as soon as i click it off my warrior my enchanter recasts it

If you are using KA on both characters. Adding Gift of Pure Thought to your warriors Blocked Buff list will keep the enchanter from casting as well. Just have to start the Warrior before the Enchanter.

Is that the trick? I usually went the other way around and either left the buff or did the |!MA / |MA, or |!melee/caster / |melee/caster or |Dual| tricks to keep it from spam casting.

whats the command for this? im running KA on both toons but when i type '/block gift of pure thought 0' on my warrior it doesnt work.
 
Buff warrior, rightclick buff on warrior, click Block or "Add to blocked spells" or whatever it says there. You can also add it manually by using EQ button to Character and then Blocked Spells I believe it is. Then input the name of buff in text field and click Add.

i'm on TLP...there's no functionality for the game to block the spells...but from reading the wiki on mq2bufftools I assumed that i could use that....but follwing the syntax on that page, it doesnt work.
 
I'd suggest trying to use quotes on the spell name. /block "Gift of Pure Thought" 0

You do have mq2bufftool loaded, correct?

Derp, I did not use quotes. I'll bet that's it. Will report back once I get home and test

update* ok so adding the quotes works for /clickoff. but still not with /block. I guess i could always use a downshit with /clickoff.
update 2* like to add that the quotes with /block does add the spell to my blocked list, however it still sticks on my warrior. Does /block only work on live servers where you can actually block spells thru ingame functions maybe?
