Easy AAs

I got a friend who is doing about 5 AAs per hour. He doesn't want to tell me how. ( He is doing this soloing )

Any ideas?

need some more information, what class is he, level, is he questing or grinding, or doing some mission.

Best xp... PoFire with alot of extra DPS classes outside of group easily 3aa's an hr add an alt soloing some MMs 4-5aa's an hr ;P :p

umm... actually lockout timers get you about 2 AAs an hour.

Lockout timers are 45 minutes long....you're barely gonna get 2 aa's an hour, and some hours you won't period. PoFire is good exp, but the way his friend does it doesn't involve needing flags, groups etc

when i was doing MM's i could do 2-3 an hour...

and it was simple

I had 3 DIFF groups each doing a MM... they would wait for the timer etc etc

the toon getting all the AA.. would pop between each grp .. right before they did final hail... since the grp did all the waiting... the other toon .. did not have to ..

if i could have gotten 2 more grps set up .. i could have been doing 5 AA anhour .. NP

Lot want to know, but sometime there's secret that should'nt get public, for now I will stay with normal legit xp while trying to configure how to setup my own bot groups ( Druid / Cleric / Ranger / Magician ) not the best group. but that's the character I have

I used to do that with my necromancer awhile back with soloing, But that information doesnt come to much use in EQ now, meh.

If hes a friend he should tell ya! But if I had something like that I'd enjoy it a bit before taking it to the public or anyone who might make it public, Quick fix sucks.

ANSWERS HERE:
Friend uses Spirit Shroud on his chars up to 10 lvls under his lvl. I seen him doing this in a lvl 70 and a lvl 60 char. Never the same lvl, sometimes 5 lvls below, sometimes 3 lvs, but it is about 5 lvls from the original lvl. He normally become a tank.

Then he goes to different zones, old zones of Antonica, never seen him in newer zones. Like the other day he was in COM, for about two hours, then he send me a tell: "lol, i just made 6 AA's".

and how I know is true? well, I know his account and log his chars from time to time to do magelo, we 3 friends have same magelo account.

So, he doesn't group or does MM, but for sure gets lots of AAs.
HOW?, like I say, I been asking him for over a month and he doesn't want to tell me. (going crazy here trying to figure it out)

The days of 30 AA per hour died with Bard AoE song nerf back in the day.
Kiting the entire field in PoFire was sickening AA.

I'd strongly love to see proof of your being capable of taking in that many AA per hour. Perhaps even a screen shot of your AA count, Which should clearly should be over 1000 easily.
Or one of your Unspent AA count maxed out.

He's talking about faction wars. Tactics pit used to rack up that much AA an hour easily but I haven't seen a new one lately. Perhaps a new faction war was introduced with DoD.

I have a freind, and his buddy is doing 40 aa's in half an hour. See... you get a DoN... Creator by preference.... then you shroud DOWN to make it harder... and then you go in solo... and...

It used to be possible. As I mentioned, there was the faction exploit in the pit of Plane of Tactics. There were 2 different factions in the pit and you could charm a mob of one faction and get it to attack another faction, then break charm as it started to cast a spell and it would trigger a faction war. Hit each mob as you drew it to the faction war and you would get XP as the mobs killed themselves. Very easy to get 30AA an hour and I used to do it. If there's a new faction war exploit out there I would love to know it.

30 AA's an hour is not an Urban legend. I had my account suspended for doing 57 AAs in two hours. The suspension was lifted when they realised it was legit.

(this was AE kiting HoH back before the very first bard AE nerf).

Yep, I confirmed it. 30 AA's an hour is do-able. Frankly its not in some huge "uber" zone either. And yes its similiar to Tactics/SH bit.

Edit: Confirmed but have not achieved it yet, my skillz need perfecting....Sticking to my way till I get more free time to master it
