Mission Giver: Shadowalker Dustspirit loc -683, 844, 40
Mission Name: Elder Longshadow #3: A Plea for Help
Instance Location: loc 1238, 757, 132 in "The Undershore"
Target: "an ornate chest" 472, 1459,-94
HP: 1.4k~
Safe Point: Loc 375, 1586, -31
Map provided below. Green dot is safe area. To get to it there is a wall with an incline that you can climb. I have a screenshot of it, but it's to large for me to host anywhere.

This is easier if you're brave enough to warp. Just warp to the safe loc target chest and nuke/dot till it's dead. Warp/run to chest loot and /succor.

If your like me and don't warp this can be done by any class that has the ability to lose agro. Just run from the zone in to the chest room and FD/Fade at the safe point. Once the chest is dead go loot, loose agro, and quit the mission.

Since you're not completing the mission there is no lockout. You can chain loot as long as you offload the lore items to someone else.

If your group average level is below 66 you get 24.5k tribute items.
Wurine Fur Helmet
Savage Choker
Wild Wurine Arms
Wurine Alpha Bracer<-Not lore.
With a wizard for transportation and another character planted at the mission giver I maxed tribute in a little over an hour.

If your group average level is above 66 and you select normal you get Attuneable items. Prices provided by EQcon.com
Shed Fur Arms 30k~
Tribal Chain Bracer 27k~ <-Not lore.
Wurine Savage Gloves 27k~
Wurine Tribal Beads 20k~
Wurine Vanguard Boots 60k~

If your group average level is above 66 and you select Hard you get No Trade items.
Den Guardian Boots
Ferocious Savage Choker
Howling Cap
Ornate Wurine Gloves
Wolfskin Hood

the mission giver was only put in a wall temporarily to stop people using it ,as its AA xp output was set far too high at first

was fun while it lasted , like most things in EQ :)

MQ2Mission is working fine. No need to update it

That depends on your view of fine. There are currently two versions of Mq2mission. Odessa's version includes Mission number and Npc number. The other version only uses Mission number.

Personally i'll only use one that makes use of both numbers. I admit it may be only in my head that this version is safer, but it's my accounts so i'm entitled to believe what I like. I'll test it tomorrow and see if it still works.

If you wish to use the version that only uses Mission number then use these two.

7539 Normal
7540 Hard

I still think it would be better to use odessa's version, but change it a little so you can put in an ini for mission # -> Missiong Giver #
that way you could just use the mission # and it would look up the mission giver # that goes with the mission.
just mho

How safe is it to use MQ2Mission? I'm kinda paranoid about how I use MQ. Typically I just use the map stuff, Faerune, and non-warping macros (I never AFK macro). I got too many years invested in my toons to gamble big time with them.

I'm not sure anyone knows EXACTLY how safe any of this to use, but mq2mission is supposedly one of the things being watched right now. I for one am not doing it because I'm busy doing other crap right now but if I wasn't busy I would try it. Losing all my accounts just gives me a good excuse to finally give this damn game up! ;)

i've been using mq2mission non-stop since tss was released, and i've been warping and zoning and afk macroing on all three accounts (not changing this thread into a thread about how safe everything is, just saying that three acounts all that stuff used just as much as i did pre-tss and no bans or suspensions, and my accounts even have a red flag or two [i was accused of ninja looting with ghost, the shared bank thing which i was unbanned from with one account, and have been suspended on another account many months ago for warping in lsmm])...just play it smart and don't anger other players....lol its always fun watchng the map and seeing ppl warp across the zone or a whole group suddenly popup at a camp without a mage/rezzer or any other explanation.

Currently I will only use Odessa's version with the NPC and Mission number. Like I said I have no proof this is in anyway safer than the other version or how safe either version is. It is just personal oppinion.

That is the best advice anyone can give. Untill they automate the track/ban process (which I don't think will ever happen) then pissing people off is where most bans come from.

Even with MQ2Mission would still have to zone to do this, unless u have second account in other zone (which defeats purpose of mission anyway) since you have to hail werewolf right next to mission giver for first task update anyway. I just used 2 accounts kept one at mission giver and one by instance zone in, got mission and update with one and got loot with other.

If you just want loot you don't have to do anything but kill the chest and loot it.

Oic, *shrugs* thought you needed to update for instance to open, o well then disregard last post =)

Codes for Mq2mission that uses Mission giver number.
Normal: Mission 7539 Mission giver 13966
Hard: Mission 7540 Mission Giver 13966
