Problem - DPS

why doesn't the dps parser parse my mage? only his pet.

Which DPS parser are you using? KA's built in one or a plugin?

EQ changed the message txt for spells/ranged damage awhile back and some older parsers may only report melee dmg if it hasn't been updated.

also distance matters, if your mage is to far away it can mess up the dmg reporting

KA's built in plugin. I can be standing next to the mob and nothing. Is there a good plugin i can use?

There were some changes to the event wordings this previous EQ update that broke the DPS parser in Kiss. We have fixed the issue and will be posting the fixes in the next update to KISS.

The beta version of GamParse 2.X does pretty well for me if you need a parser before the next update too. the URL is available on the DB forums.
