DON - Diving for lavarocks

I thought I saw this else where.. but i did this tonight and here is what i got for ya

This is gotten from the dwarf (Boldger)

/zone broodlands

/warp -1793 -1488 155

Zone into instanced

/target 6 lava rocks

Hotkey 1
/target lava
/warp target
/open
/warp succor
/cast spell 1 (FD)

Hotkey 2
/target lava
/warp target
/loot

Loot rock and hit your SAFE hotkey

(safe hotkey = /warp succor every good MQ2er should have one)

This worked best for me with a necro .. i could do this part FD

I am not good with the bard yet.. and i am sure others will come to my aid here.. on how to do it best with a bard

Then you have to kill 15 mobs.

you can not see through walls still .. so killed the old fashioned way .. ROT

and we got 35 crystals... per toon

i had a 70 enc, 69 bard, 66 sham and 67 necro when i got the mission..

next time will get with only bard and enc.. see if i can raise the crystal count

then added toons before handing the crystals into boldger

next run i will get locs of lava rocks... 8-)

you have to have 3 chars to start a don. and the /taskadd system is way buggy so you may not be able to add a char afterwards.

i add them all the time.. np .. and u have several accounts.. so boxin is NP for me 8-)

For the killing 15 mobs, can they be any mobs in the zone? so i can warp and do the rocks then have friend sitting at zone in and just kill 15 randoms? sry is this is a stupid question, still kinda new,

yeah i killed the first 15 at entrance

I am Thinking that the eye of zoom should work for the killing of mobs../shrug not sure if it will but i would think it should and would be the easiest way to finish the mission without to much hassle

If u didnt see the post i am talking about then i will tell ya :p

If u cast eye of zoom then kill the eye that should count as a mob that has been killed should take less time to do that is if this still works and if it does and u want to do this instead ther is a dinky macro i made that should do this part for u

I wonder, does Eye of Zomm work for LDON's that are kill X mobs also?

i tried eye of zoom in this mission

eye dies

no update to quest... this quest says kill 15 denziens of the delve

tonight i tried this again ... had minor problem .. with a blast or something from opening the rocks...

I edited the first post and changed up my hot keys... this works much better

BTW when u agro the drakes.. they come AAAALLLLthe way to the ZI .. 8-)

I had the problem of the mobs coming all the way to the zone in too. What you can to to remediate this is don't use targetting as part of the button. Use your map to target a lava rock at the farthest point away..then have a button that does the open and warp back to zone in. You'll be alright then.

what's the lockout on this one, and what tier is the quest?
