Question - Does Swarming still work ?

Does swarming particularly SK Swarming still work ?

Devs nerfed it a bit. They nerfed the riposte heal part. Makes the epic much less valuable with swarming. I forgot tge limit but it us around 6 IIRC.

intheroy youve still got the same damage from the swarming, just loose the self healing part as such, with healers behind you anything is possible
but swarming with just a Sk turns into just a Burst thing on a smaller level

It’s still possible. It’s easier if you have some support classes to help you out.

its not bad, the dmg mitigation and healing hold up well in zones with mobs that are typically low enough to swarm in. like fm at lv 115... Haven't tried higher lv zones though. If u are power-levelling a toon using sk swarm its very doable. I actually drop my healer outside the group if I'm power-levelling.

I was messing around in RoF eastern wastes and accidentally pulled a 20-25 mob train and decided to try a swarm kill on the 110 SK... it worked and Im thinking I could do 30-40ish if I pre dot some mobs before engaging to get the heals rolling.

All mobs were LV lvls 96-98 as a reference. SK was sitting 290k hp with cleric/bst buffs

Swarming has been nerfed to the point where its not really that great.

It is better to have few High level toons and just kill in lower level zones.

For example

If you are leveling a 90 toon , have him grouped with 120's and go some where you can kill fast , Like Frontier mountains

this is the best way to do it, I know not everyone has this luxury of having toons with 30 level gaps but its worth doing.


example : I have level 90's toons to help level 60 toon , I have level 105 toons to help level 75 toons , I have 100 toons to help level 70 toons
