These are the things I have find so far, nothing really ubber, but why not share.

1) Buffing : I notice that lot of the shroud forms get not too bad buff, so if you dont have a high level enchanter, just morph into a form that give Pure Thougth or something like that. I try to cast as much buff as I can fro different shroud on my other character and it was fun at least ;)

2) Anonymous ? : Several person from my guild ask me how I can be invisible to them, I dont appear in guild listing, neither when they search me manually by my name and so on, the only way they can know im online its if Im in front of them , we try it several time and it seem when in in a shoud form, im near completly anonymous... Other from the guild have try it with failure, so I just dont know if I have done something else wrong that do this bug...

3) Suspend Buff : Another thing I have notice if that during the time you are in Shroud, you dont lose buff you have on your other character, and this seem to be the case with temporary items too ( but can't confirm on this). So You can Buff your main then switch to a shroud form, get to the raid with your friend in shroud form, you bind near where the raid take place, then you use Spirit sending to get back to the shroudkeeper then you gate back to the raid with your normal form with all buff ready. Its a bit like Guild Hall...

4) Experience with shroud : We dont seem to gain any experience in shroud form, so I think that to gain xp, you need to do monster mission when in shroud, but as I dont have find any yet I can test it, so if you know some low level mission I will be able to test this theory.
 
I have read this on Kenetix, and have yet to try it.
I expect no credit for this at all. I am mearly posting it here for anyone who does not frequent Kenetix.

If you are a pet class, and would like your uberly geared pet, in all of his mage summoned glory, to keep his no rent..... err temporary items.
get a shroud form and log off in that shroud. when you log back on and remove the spirit shroud. Viola, Gobaber still has all of his wonderfull toys.

I think you do..in about 3 hours killing stuff at level 5 I got a few blue ticks of aa... have not tried at mid-high levels.
 
At level 5 you gain aa ? So if I understand rigth, you will never see your xp bar gain any xp at all, but when you return to your normal form you will have gain xp for this character ? Sound logic, but I thougth both will gian xp not just your main...

So that must be why I dont see any change, epxerience for killing monser lvl 5 most not be a lot for a level 50 character, so maybe after 1-2K of them I will gain 2-3%... will test further later then
 
You don't gain 'exp' per se on the shroud, but you do earn progression towards next shroud, as well as exp on main. In the time I got about 3 ticks of aa I got 10% on the shroud.
 
I got into a group of 3 last night.

2 Warriors lvl5 (Shrouds)
1 Ranger lvl3

Had a 55 Druid to heal/buff.

Killed in PC for about 2 hours, sometime between the Ranger leveling myself and the other Shroud guy switched to lvl10s and we went deeper into PC. After 11% Progression on my Shroud, I "removed" the Shroud from my 33 Paladin who was 35% from level 34, and he is now 15% into 34.
 
just an fyi, if you die in shroud form you will lose the propper amount of exp for whatever level shroud you are. My 51 mage turned into a 50 shroud, and died a couple of times. When I removed the shroud I had deleveled to 50. Luckily we can have our shrouded corpses summoned and rezzed to get the exp back.
 
i will try on one of my toons.. but i died a fw times with my toonand i did not notice exp drop

hell i hope not.. he he .. but exp is easily gained back
 
I confirmed exp loss.

Was on level 70 shrouded rogue form.

Died in Illisian(sp?)

Took off shroud in PoK. I *was* max level 70 before shroud. Was a blue down after death in shroud. Used expediant recovery and was back to max in level after.

So, yep, you can lose exp while dying in shrouded form.
 
ok, i've been doin some testing, heres what i've found :) :
1: You do gain xp towards main in shroud form, not a lot but mostly depends on where you are...
2: If you plan on doing a monster mission, go to 100% AA, you will get ATLEAST 1 AA per mission, i only got 8% towards normal.
3: The best looking missions are Naggy and Shadowmane Invasion. the best one for AAs in my opinion is Shadowmane Invasion plus its loads of fun, u get to be a 65 monk or rogue, quading for like almost 1k!!!
4: The best place to go is PC, go in through the Shadeweavers side at lvl 5 in whichever form u wanna progress in. bring a druid, preferably around 60+ :) get a ds, regen and protection of nature. just go around and either cast a spell or bask/kick/maul or w/e to do 1 dmg, regular attack isnt best, anyways, go around and hit a couple things, i dont recommend hitting more than 6-8. sit there and attack them and let them kill themselves, u get uber xp towards main (even though its not a whole lot, still pretty good :P) and u get about 1% towards next shroud every 3-7 mins, me and a friend spent a few hours there, he went from 20% to the next shroud in about 3 hours, i went from 13% to 63% in 3 hours! its very nice and effective!!!
5: The unrest mission in butcherblock (from savil tranquilsong) is HARD as sh*t!
6: The Queen Noknok's Tomb one is hard but not as hard
7: The Naggy one is very fun!
8: The Shadowmane Invasion one is fun because its like a war (sorta)
9: Corathus Creep is fruity :P
10: Nektulos looks better! YAY!
11: Undershore=scary!

ok call me a noob if u want..

the way we PL using dses on bards... can i just turn my rog into a level 45ish mob and do the guk thing and get normal aa exp that way plus should form exp?

also if this is the case it makes PLing a melee a tone faster coz surely the wizzies get some kind of ae effect?

so u can do... Bard with the ds... PL toon in wizzy form... and cleric for heals just incase?
 
well I am guessing you can have the bard PL them but the bard will have to stay a bard, once you use the shroud you become that monster with thier abilities and aa so you would not have the nice little bard to kite.
 
I have done one monster mission so far and thats a pirate raid on freeport.
Did with one full group like 5 times awesome xp at 61 and at 53
you get choice of <all level 55>

It starts above the docks in Butcherblock from a gnome named Mister Squilch.
As of today it's bugged, one group member <might be group ldr since I was and was one doing it> must hail Mister Squilch after zoneing into Freeport and say to him <cast off> then just come back in again by saying <board> again and then it should give you the rest of the mission objectives <so you actually get xp and credit for loot and kills>

one request I have to you all lets get zones and locations for all the monster missions in old world zones together

Runeyeye<<< didn't do it for I figured it was hard as hell

aye my idea was... jsut to clarify :p

toon 1 is the bard doign the bardy pling hting
toon 2 is the RoG im pling in shroud form.. he does the hit the mob at least once thing.
toon 3 is the cleric coz well accidents happen lol

the rog wud be able 35 40 ish in the shroud (level 70 normal) and wud get the exp... now wud that work? somthing i need to try but cant do it iwth out mq2twist here... lost all my bardic skills at twisin lol
 
lol yeah i know i know but serously... gettin wacked in the back by 25/30 odd mobs = major intrupts and im to lazy to do it the proper way omg
