Have you been logging in the same way before?
Are you trying to play on Phinney with MQ2?


Make sure you are running macroquest2.exe as admin.

mq2ic=1

Try that first as its pretty much a required plugin now to play.

Not playing on phinny, everyone knows it doesn't work there.

Yes i was loading this way always.

Tried both running as admin and not

where do i input this mq2ic=1 command?

Reasoning for wanting to use isboxer is the spellbar overlay that allows me to press one key and have it execute same key on other boxes. IE: [] /target name [] /pause 5 [] /sit off [] /fol

Yeah even if i run without innerspace / isboxer.. same crash on all 3

Try without mq2fps.

Even though you have allways did it this way I would try pulling your MQ2 Folder OUT of your EQ folder , place it on desktop or something . then delete your EQGraphics.dll file from EQ folder , and then in your MQ2ini delete all plugins except the MQ2ic , and repatch running full scan if it does reload the plugins one by one manually see if that helps .

I start 5 accounts with an script. in 19 out of 20 starts, the first account ALLWAYS crash for me.

Lack of resources ?? loading up all the toons and pulling from the first, Programs don't care where they get the resources to run they will sometimes shut down others just to remain stable . but I dunno just a guess . try turning Details and graphics down on first 5 accounts starting on script

Nah, it's not that. My comp could handle alot more accounts. It's something else.

Try running without your script ? kill any background services that are running , there is a nice right on on CPU settings that really helped me a lot , dunno just trying to help even if im wrong or its just jiberish but may spark an idea

randomly does the same thing for me. I load my toons in small chunks.. with a 20-30s spacing. If I have not been on recently, for what ever reason the first instance will error out. Loads the rest, and as long as I have one running it generally does not give me any fuss.

Not to derail the thread, which I think was originally over needing to load MQ2IC.DLL

MQ2IC.DLL just FYI is the counter to DBG's new MQ detenction as I understand it. You can get to character selection screen... after that it will close/crach EQ if you try to use MQ with out loading this .DLL (or try to MQon Phinny) It also fixes a number of other bugs. IE like Maskoi said... pretty much a required plugin now a days =)
