Hey guys! After todays new compile, I'm having 2 accounts crash any time I try to run kiss assist. It is happening on my wizard and bard everytime. I have tried deleting the toons kiss ini and melee ini and am not having any luck. I can run kiss to generate a new ini file but as soon as I try to run that blank ini file I am getting instant crashes right afterthe ninjaadvloot messages scroll up. The other 4 toons in my group are running fine. Problem started today after compile. Did not have any issues using the ini's before the patch.

Just tried running the new compile myself and I'm getting random freeze/crashes. For me, it's usually right after I start up KA. I've run /kisscheck the times it will actually finish loading and didn't get any errors there.

here's a little update on my end. Was able to get kiss running if I don't include the /plugin mq2navigation line in my macro that I use to turn everything on. Sometimes my warrior crashes too sometimes it doesn't. 3 out of 6 toons were crashing. Wizard and bard every time warrior 50% of the time. My other 3 toons run everything without a hitch, really odd.
 
Not seeing any weirdness from plugins.

Check to see if a minidump crash file was created in c:\Users\<your username>\Appdata\Local\Temp\SCE > at about the time you crashed.

You should see a bunch of folders that look like eqgame.exe-0000000b789683cb.session.Copy

You will need to zip that file and email it to [email protected] so he check to see what is causing it.

I was having a problem as well. Found AAspend was at fault. Checked my AASpend list and found that the first 2 entries were duplicated. not sure how that happened. The way I found if was loaded MQ2 with just the base plugins and manually loaded each plugin until I crashed.
 
Seems to be mq2navigation i am looking at it now

I had the same issue people above were having. I deleted the Redguides updater, MQ, and the Vanilla build. Re-downloaded them to a new directory, re-ran it updater. That resolve the issue for me.

I've had this happen on kissassist on real tank, and tank puller, etc.
Usually when I start up MQ/KA for the first time it crashes and i have to restart and it will work okay the next time i start up.
 
So oddly enough mine crashed only on one account that my rogue was on, after about 3 hours of 1 by 1 plugin adding I finally narrowed mine down to Mq2Headshot. If it is enabled my rogue will not load, all others will. Very odd.

I am unable to reporduce the issue at my end.... Used Karmanation's exact plugin list... on my rogue, role=puller, when I have a navigation mesh for the zone i'm testing.. navigation works fine.. no crash... when no mesh file exists... mq2navigation is not used and it defaults to mq2moveutils as it is supposed to.

I'm interested in mini dump results.
 
still crashing a) when first running KA on each toon and b) consistently crashing when trying to run autobones mac, crashes once zones into brells rest.

NOTE got autobones to work by opening it in notepad and saving with a different name (wizbones.mac)

Ok, this support ticket posting has diverted greatly from the original posters problem/issue.

I would appreciate if Karmanation could please post an update to the status of his crashing issues after the last 2 compile updates that have happened since this post was made by him.

ANY other off topic discussions should not be furthered in this support ticket please.

PM'img Karmanation to update this... if i hear nothing within 5 days from him/her... i'm just going to assume this OLD ticket has self resolved.. since Karmanation has not posted anything back.
 
The original problem I had was the game crashing when I ran kissassist. After originally posting I was able to narrow my crashes to MQ2Navigation in conjunction with kissassist. I haven't had any issues with kissassist other than when I try to use MQ2Navigation with it. The problem is still present for me, happened last night. I can send the crash mini dumps again if you guys want.

I rarely use the MQ2Navigation atm in game, so Ify ou guys want to give more important problems your attention, I would be fine with you closing this thread, seeing as how I am currently able to do what I need to without issues, as I presently don't have a need for nav.
